Objectives & Expected Level Of Play By Division
PeeWee 7
This category serves as the bridge between the initial stages and the kid pitch divisions designed for older children. It provides the first taste of genuine competition with actual baseballs and a field, while still incorporating the use of a pitching machine.
The primary focus in this division is on cultivating essential skills in the sport of baseball.
PeeWee 8 to Majors
The Single "A" (Rec) division caters to players who may not possess advanced skills or refined athletic abilities, or those who are just beginning to grasp the fundamentals of the game. Notably, it stands out as the largest division within our program.
On the other hand, the Triple "AAA" Division attracts players seeking the pinnacle of competition. Coaches conduct tryouts each fall to select participants. This division is alternatively known as the "Super League" or "Travel Baseball."
As players progress, each level builds upon the previous one, imparting baseball skills that align with the increasing demands of higher divisions.
Pony Prep, Pony, & Colt
The purpose of these divisions is to encourage continued participation among kids as they progress into Junior High and High School grades. Similar to the divisions for younger ages, separate programs are provided for these stages.
All these divisions offer opportunities for skill development, competition, and tournament play, fostering a comprehensive and engaging experience for participants.
